About Sean Lerner

Sean graduated from UBC Law School in 1999 and was called to the bar in British Columbia in 2000. He has practiced in Vancouver since that time. Before law school, Sean spent a number of years working and studying in Japan.

Before starting Lerner Law Corporation, Sean practiced at a well known insurance defence firm in Vancouver and then spent 5 years as senior litigation counsel at Canada’s largest property and casualty insurance company.

Sean has extensive experience in the personal injury and property matters as well as insurance coverage litigation. He has years of experience obtaining favourable results for his clients both at trial and at the negotiation table. His years spent working with insurers has given him special insight and skill in achieving fair settlements for his clients who deal with them.

Sean is a member of the Trial Lawyers Association of BC, the Canadian Bar Association, and the Vancouver Bar Association.
